All your secrets are coming out! Incidentally, I believe most of the missing bits were provided to the auctioneer before the sale. I suspect if it has been bought by the ultimate owner (i.e. not a dealer), he or she will have a nice car once it is reassembled.

Sold for £2500 plus commission. Let’s hope there will be another Lanchester on the road soon!

I should also say thank you to Bob. I too have bought the Newnes books. Volumes 1 to 4. They are a bit limited on the Lanchester 15/18, but it does get a mention and there is a section on the pre selective gearbox amongst over useful sections. No mention of the publication date.
