You need a Varta 570 412 63 or 570 413 63. (Other makes are available). The difference between them being the layout of the posts. One has the negative to the left, the other the positive to the left. They seem to retail around £78. They are 70AH which seems about right for a 2.5 litre V8

I asked my local engineering shop if they could assist and while they agreed they could machine whatever shore rated material was used neither they nor I ...

Thank you. I did write to Polybush to ask what shore strength their red and blue ranges are but they haven't replied. I need something fairly soft for some shock absorber link bushes.

I removed the small length of piping that lubricates the two bushes for the brake operating shaft.
