I assume it is the same as the Jaguar Mk2 in which case there were 2 U shaped pins that went in the holes either side of the Radio, these released the clips and pulled the radio out forwards. It is then easy to change the wires over in the back of the Radio to alter polarity. Hope this may help Rega...

Looking from the rear of the car it is about half way along the right hand tube and on the back edge of the tube. It is very small and not always easy to spot but tends to get blocked with crud or paint.

Also slightly off topic but very interested in your front ARB as Roberts is too low and keeps catching on the road. Any chance of pictures or more info

I have used the one as suggested by DaveM, it is easy to make and fit and works well. I can now drive looking through the windscreen!

Having had the same problem and after checking everything as you have done my problem was found by chance When the engine was hot and switched off there was a hissing sound which turned out to be a carburettor float bowl vent pipe blocked with many years of crud and completely upsetting the mixture....
