Re: 1962 Daimler SP250 - Colorado, USA
Made a respectable $31,250 just under £24,000, seems the market is perking up, perhaps. Syd

Re: 1962 Daimler SP250 - Colorado, USA
Its currently showing $5,250 that's about £4,100, with 5 days to go, surely will make much more, that is very cheap. Syd

Re: What kind of fuel were they using??
Fantastic detail in your record Hans, a remarkable record and shows how the SP can perform, of course it does depend on who is driving, you are clearly a very considerate driver, if you use a heavy right foot you will pay the price but you have proved with consideration very good results are possibl...

Re: 104 Sportsman Tyres
The cost of tyres for older cars is hefty issue, it put an end to my getting my 15 on the road at £240 a time, £1200 a set its a challenge to justify when the market value of the car is so low, it certainly made me think and as tyres are a vital safety issue you cannot mess about with them they have...

Re: Alternators
Just a point worth considering, the older alternators need a control box as Spar says, they were fitted to many cars including some V8 250's, in general they work fine and are reliable, but the later alternators were of much better design, do not need a control box because it is built in and they ar...

Re: H&H Auction 13 March 2024
That is very disappointing for all of us who own similar cars, but realistically where the market is. If you are in the market to buy it has to be a good time to negotiate a good deal with vendors whilst prices are depressed. I suspect we are in a "not an important purchase" or "not a...

That's the one Hans thanks for that, but it looks like contact might be a bit difficult given the content of the last few posts, but if I remember correctly there is a contact number in the 34 pages somewhere. Syd

Re: briggs body driver side
I have not had a chance to do a search, but there was a very good and long running commentary bout 25-30 pages on a LD10 restoration on her last year, they had a scrap car that they stripped for parts and may well have what you want, they seem to have gone to ground for now but worth a search I woul...
