Hi Al,
Just wanted to thank you for sharing with us the journey you went through. I admire your positive attitude throughout. I tend to be a little more dramatic when things go wrong

Re: Exasperated by stuttering SP250... all suggestions welcome!

Just wondering if you notice this problem happening after your Kenlowe fan engages. If your electronic ignition and your fan are fed from the same source, maybe fan is dropping voltage at ignition enough to affect its workings. Another thought is put your points back in temporarily and see how it ru...

Re: Vehicle lifts / inspection pits

Hi Ranald I have a scissor lift similar to one below s-l500.jpg My ceiling height forced me to this type of lift. Positives 1. being portable it is easy to move about. 2. I found it excellent for body work and painting. You don't have to bend down to get botttom area of car and no posts to interfer ...

Re: In line thermostat

But on my "to do" list is removing the guts from the thermostat housing (arrow) and machining a pocket to accept a regular thermostat 1.jpg 8.JPG The theory behind your system sounds fine and I would have assumed it would have worked n...

Re: Daimler 15 spring, Busted !

Hi Rob,

Note that the rear springs are different depending on which model you have!
