I was lead to believe when I just bought a new car that you can tax the car about 10 days before the end of the month. I picked the car up on the 21st and it had tax for twelve months and the 10 days. Its the insurance companies that seem to be makings profit from the situation. They always round up...

Some of the replacement parts nowadays are absolute garbage so don't take it for granted that they are not the fault. Two or three times I have fit new stuff and it has been nothing but bother.

Could it be a timing issue but I wouldn’t have a clue how to set up on an electronic unit.
As for inline fuel filter, only if the tank and original filter are not up to scratch.

I think and hope Al, that the higher rating thermostat will help the situation and probably help with fuel consumption. My 1935 AC seams to have the same pattern as your car Al. Since recoring the rad and cutting the water jacket off and a new one been grafted to the crankcase.
