Re: Car Tax Travisty?

When the trough was full of MP’s noses at least we saw some nice property renovations not least a lovely duck house.
I wonder if Alan Clarks or Gr** Kn****s old motors ever ran on tax payers money.

Re: Conquest ign coil

Re: Electronic Ignition

It won’t be long before we need a new thread. Its your car so your rules. Do as you want and we all need to help where we can. I like the idea of old cars and old ways but like them to suit me. If that means some updates then as I say its your car. To the point, can you get any advice from the suppl...

Re: Electronic Ignition

Re: Lanchester Eleven Cooling system

I think and hope Al, that the higher rating thermostat will help the situation and probably help with fuel consumption. I must confess to being happier that our engines run cooler rather than overheating. I may be wrong but I think it is less stressful than the thought of long hold ups in lay-bys wa...

Re: Lanchester Eleven Cooling system

My 1935 AC seams to have the same pattern as your car Al. Since recoring the rad and cutting the water jacket off and a new one been grafted to the crankcase. It Always ran around 200F but since the work it now takes quite a while to warm up and rarely rises above 170F. I personally put it down to t...
