Re: SP250 brake calipers

There must be some somewhere. Manners has them part [RH part No 136203 & LH part No 136203E] exchange/reconditioned at £449.04. But I'm sure i have one in a cupboard in my shed... but they are handed so i need to know which side you need? I think the standard ones are off another car [i.e. parts...

Re: SP engine removal

Re: Heater/Carb water pipes

I have Barry's silicone ones and find them very good. But.... there is often talk of missing out the inlet manifold heater all together, thus not using the tees at all. Some say with modern fuels you don't need it heated anyway. It is a good idea to always carry a Pickford Pipe in case of a Rubber T...

Re: SP250 engine timing

Russ Carpenter posted this on the 'Old Forum' ages ago: there was never any strobe settings for this distributer, that is because it has what I describe as cranking advance. As you start the engine the timing advances 6,8,or 10 degrees (dependant on what distributer is fitted) so the idle advance en...

Daimler is to become the official car manufacturer of the EU

Did you know that the Daimler is to become the official car manufacturer of the EU? He soon fitted it to an old 3 wheeled inval...

Re: V8 250 Barn find

Well I hear there are more border crossings between Erie and NI than crossings between Canada and USA so you should be able to find a quiet road wide enough for your trailer in the next few months! I still think BrExit is the best outcome for old car enthusiasts. Belgium & Brussels doesn't like ...
