Ok thanks , a friend has a cracked block on an SP250. He would prefer to get an early block but seems to have to go down the Saloon block route , If your blocks have studs they are SPs , Bolts were used on saloons so the heads could be removed in situ . Do you know what models the blocks are for , Are they early Sp250 or Saloon Blocks , the main difference is the rear crank seal on SP s . A local owner is looking for an SP block with the piston ring type crank seals , Dave

If you have the original coil , the connections will be marked SW and CB contact breakers and switch wire .. With positive earth connect CB to distributor,. Live feed to SW , Later coils are marked pos and neg, + and - . Dave ,

My Solid state SU failed today , I was glad that I had mounted a facet beside the SU as I mentioned previously , Quick change two pipes and two wires and I was on my way .
