Daimler LQ3/24 engine matters...
This may be a long shot - not least as I hold the DLOC's library of parts and maintenance books - but I wonder if anyone has a maintenance book for the LQ3/24. We have parts books in the collection but nothing on maintenance and I don't know whether or not its setting differ significantly from the 2...

Re: Daimler Majestic Major Workshop Manual.
Many thanks for your kind words, Greville... it's always a pleasure to help when and as far as I can. For others: I took over all the books previously held by John Ridley and now, on behalf of the DLOC, offer a free service (issuing PDF scans rather than photocopies) to members needing workshop manu...

A'l - it'd be worth dropping a line to the BSA Front Wheel Drive Club. Even if it's a RWD car, someone is likely to respond to a notice in their monthly equivalent of the DM - "Front Wheels". The editor is Peter Nicholls, pdnicholls@btopenworld.com
best wishes, as ever

If they are, indeed, military spec, I'd try Marcus Glenn

...but why not revert to a more normal pattern? If you've no radio fitted, you'll probably not need RF suppression.
Good luck!

Re: A mute point with the DVLA
You have to assert your rights when asking for a refund ...something I learned last year when I part-exchanged a car with a dealer for another used car. Because I hadn't cancelled the direct debit mandate for a car I drove into the dealership on 31 July, DVLA claimed its August road-tax (on 1 August...
