Totally agree ...... sub $5K at best .....
Interestingly Peter Ruifrok kindly let me know that it is in fact a 1952 not 1948 as they are stating.

What is it worth in good condition these days? ...... this project would be a big $$ and time investment ..... but she is a fine looking automobile.

This is a good question does anyone have some quality pic of what it would have looked like when new --- my DH27 wood needs to be done.... the veneer has long gone and they have just stained and varnished it.

Fantastic - thanks The picture you give is idential to the drive for the privacy window between the passenger and the chauffeur ... all the incoming wires are shot on mine but I made sure I marked each wire so the source can be traced. I then used a ohm meter to figure out the relays connected a 12 ...

Rear blind operation DH27
Hope this pic is readable - it is the rear blind motor from my DH27 - (I just love these cars)... Does anyone have one ..... I think it was wired incorrectyl .... the motor was connected in a way that ignored the up/down position lugs on the chain. I am sure that when the blind was fully up or down ...

Thanks this post it helped no-end ...... yep I don't want to spend $600... rather purchase a Hydraulic 12 ton Shop Press for $175 and press away.... i have other items that I can use this for .....
