Re: dart sump alterations

Hi Terry We can weld a plate and fit a drain plug. You will also need to check the oil pickup will still be ok as this may be too long? If so we can modify this to suit. Saloon front road spring removal

Well it's time to strip the front suspension on the V8 Saloon to fit newly acquired power steering. Re: 1964 Daimler V8 saloon at Historics auction today

Re: Snow chains

Snow socks can be put on without having to jack up the vehicle. slip them over the top of the tyre under the arch then drive forward by half a turn of the wheels and pull over, removal is the reverse process. As stated already if you drive on tarmac they get ripped to shreds in no time so as soon as...

Re: EBAY listing - V8 with manual gearbox

To add some further details to Syd's note. The gearbox was the same as used on the Jag but as Syd stated the bell housing differed as did the clutch. The final drive ratio of the manual car introduced in February 1967 was 4.55:1 whereas the auto was 4.27:1. However the early cars (from introduction ...

Re: saloon power steering questions?
