Re: Engine removal in Briggs LD10
I have just removed and replaced the engine/gearbox on my Barker bodied Ld10. I found it relatively strait forward, though I should stress that my early working years were with the Audi rally team so I do have some ‘car’ experience. Yes take the front end off - this was easier than I thought it woul...

Ld10 engine mounts
Good day all.
I seem to recall talk of someone who had made/was going to make engine/gearbox mounts for the Ld10. Did this happen? Who is it? And do they work OK?
Thanks in advance

Cylinder head removal Ld10
Good day one and all. I am trying to remove the cylinder head on my Ld10 and to date it is not budging one bit and I wondered if anyone on here had experience of shifting a stubborn head themselves and could give any pointers? I’m an ex motorsport engineer so I know my way round cars and engines so ...

Ld 10 fuel tap
Good day all.
The reserve fuel tap on my Ld 10 in missing. The last owner told me it sprang a leak so he removed it and put a piece of strait pipe in. So on e-bay at the moment there is a tap for a La 10 can anyone tell me if by any chance they are the same for the two models.
Thanks Martyn

Re: LD10 PLUG COVER
I bid on it up to £120 it got too rich then. I would buy a copy but not for £120. The genuine article is always worth more in my opinion.

Re: Ld10 front hubs
Thanks guys. As I said it's not a problem making some as I have free access to the schools engineering department, it just would have saved me some time if a usable alternative was readily available.

Ld10 front hubs
Good day all. Ongoing work on the car has seen me recently addressing the brake system. The front hub retaining nut is secured by a keyed lock-tab, the ones on my car are past their useful stage. Now I could make new ones or secure some other way but wondered if there were lock-tabs available that p...

Re: LD 10 temp gauge sender
Thanks Simon, I am in fact a science technician and I know we have ether in stock so a repair might be possible as long as I don't wreck anything. As said in the end it looks favourable to rig up a gauge temporary so I can address the original as and when

LD 10 temp gauge sender
Good day all I have, at last, managed to find time to make in- roads into addressing some of the recommissioning work on my car. Of the many jobs I have tackled is the removal of the water pump for overhaul. I have removed the radiator which needs to go away to have the tap in the bottom refined and...

Re: Need help Locating LD10s
This is going to come across as a bit vague but I recently went to a guy in Hampshire to collect some parts and among dozens of other old cars in a barn was a black with brown interior Barker Ld10. It's number plate was partly obscured with a piece of farm machinery but the numbers on the plate were...
