Any chance you have a photo of a block with the drilled drain holes? I have the extra spray bar that feeds the camshaft and followers and do have the concern that it may flood valley area and tax the standard drain back system.
Do you have pictures of the spray bar?

Re: Upgraded Oil Pump

I have had an uprated pump built by Andrew and Russ Carpenter that has a shortened saloon pick up to work with my future 1" sectioned oil pan/sump. Reason for sectioning it is to be able to lower the engine further down into the c...

Re: Draining Engine Oil

I've been told that it won't be drained and the reason for not using oils with too much detergent. It also creates an oil bath the cam dips into to lube it while turning. For this reason I guess it would be a bad idea to drill drainage holes to drain this oil quicker into the sump by letting it drip...

Re: Engine Oil Level and Dipstick Position

Fred, I’ll try to remember to measure my saloon engine dipstick tomorrow if that helps. There are flexible dipstick converions out there that might solve your problem?

Re: V8 oil filter conversion

Due to the very tight space in my TVR I made a special tool out of threaded rod that looked like a ?. On the bottom I threaded to nuts against each other tight and welded them to the ?. I then hooked the top of the ? through the hole and used a breaker bar with a corresponding socket on the nuts. It...
