Re: 1957 Daimler 104 Sportsman

What a lovely car.

The interior looks nice. You could restore the original leather rather than have it retrimmed

Daimler Majestic Major saloon ex Monte Harlip

I don't know if anyone can shed some light on what happened to this car - Madame Monte Rosa Harlip was a society photographer who lived at York House, Gordon Avenue, Stanmore, Middlesex. In her later years, she owned a dark blue Daimler Majestic Major saloon which was sometimes seen parked in the ca...

Window switches wanted

Hi Hoping someone can help me. I have a limousine which has an electric division between front and rear; one of the operating switches is broken. I believe these switches were commonly used on British limousines of the 1950s and 60s to operate both the division and electric windows. Some pictures of...

Thanks for your reply.

I believe it was still in existence around twenty years ago and suspect you are right.

Good morning

I used to own this car, several decades ago, and am very interested in finding out what happened to it. Do any forum members know of this car?

Re: DF310 front seat removal

Have you looked underneath the car to see if the seat runners are bolted to the floor? Many cars of this era had the front seats bolted directly to the floor, and you may be able to remove the seats by unbolting from underneath.

MYL 787D, Daimler 2.5 litre V8

Hi, does anyone know of the above car? It is a 1966 car in Metallic Blue with light blue/grey interior. I owned this car in the late 1970s and would be very interested to know what became of it. The car is still listed on the DVLA website, but appears to have been off the road for a very long time a...

Re: Empress being Banger raced ?

It is such a shame to see these cars being banger raced. The two Jaguar XJs shown early in the video look to be in much better condition bodily than the Daimler Double Six Vanden Plas I have almost completed restoring was when I first acquired it. As for the several Farina A60s/A99/A110s being raced...
