Gearbox slippage
Hi
I own a 1966 Daimler V8 2.5 which has just undergone extensive mechanical work but I think the gearbox is not getting into third.
Can anyone suggest what might be the cause please? It was reconditioned several years ago.

Thanks for your suggestion. I am in the Channel Islands. I have now emailed a couple of silicone hose suppliers whom I found online incl one that specialises in classic cars so will see if they can help.
