Re: Rear wing removal

Hi Dennis,
as the centre square drive is separate and turns the winding arrangement, I was wondering if the outer housing had been screwed through the wing into the wood frame behind and then screw heads have been filled.

Rear wing removal

I am having problems in removing the rear wing to my BSA as the hood winder seems to be secretly fixed. This will be the same as the LA 10 DHC version. Can anyone offer advice on how it is fixed and how the wing may be removed. The arrangement may well be the same on all Salmons Tickford bodies.

BSA 10 HP

I am trying to remove the rear wing of my BSA but the hood pram iron winder seems to be stopping it. There is no obvious fixings, so can anyone offer advice please.
A couple of photos of the winder housing below.
