Thanks for the replies. Had a look at the Burlen Website, they do a complete Jet Bearing assembly which is Ethanol resistant. I shall be ordering a pair.

Ethanol resistant Carb Seals
Hello Everyone,
is there a supplier of Ethanol Resistant Seals for the HS6 carbs on my Conquest Century. Yet again the Jet Tube seal has failed on one of the Carbs. Getting fed up rebuilding the Carbs every 18 months or so!
Regards,
Paul

Conquest Suitcases
I beleive the Conquest came with fitted suitcases. Does anyone have pictures of them, or a set they could photograph?
Thanks,

Re: Fluid Flywheel Issues

Fluid Flywheel Issues
I've never been happy with the Fluid Flywheel on my Conquest Century. It has always been harsh, when a gear is selected. even at 400 RPM or less, the car tries to jump forward, in reverse it's as much as I can do to hold it on the brakes. Plus it leaks like a sieve. So today was Gearbox off day. Aft...

Re: Centre Lathe
I had an ML7 for many years, a good model makers Lathe. I always found it to be under powered and not very robust when working in more testing materials (Stainless, High tensile steels, etc). I was thinking more along the lines of a Boxford or a Harrison.

Centre Lathe
I'm on the lookout for a small inexpensive Centre Lathe. 3-4" swing 18-30" between centres. Must be able to screw cut. Not bothered about age or condition but must be usable. Anyone know of one lying around anywhere?

Speedo and Clock Wanted
Has anyone got a Speedo and a clock for a 55 Conquest Century Mk1. The Odometer Drive on my Speedo has stripped, so I only require one for parts. The coil on my clock is open circuit.
