Re: Old Forum down

John-B can correct me if I'm wrong but I think I recall that he did put forward a proposal to the board back in 2016 but nothing was forthcoming.

Re: Old Forum down

With almost £90,000 cash in the bank and a balance sheet figure of almost £120,000 at the last set of accounts (May 2019) the DLOC Ltd has more than enough money for the small cost of moving the old forum. It might not even cost as much as £1200. The problem seems that the board are just not interes...

Re: Old Forum down

Get the data transferred would cost about £1200, one time fee. I posted about this before, viewtopic.php?f=16&t=4193. I guess nothing was done and Peter didn't look into it. The longer it's left the more likely it will be lost and then there won't be a problem any more.

Re: Majestic Major on Facebook

That's an impressive collection of pictures and an impressive piece of work, all the more so that it was done on your front drive. I'm very interested in IMG_0769 quite close to the top of the pictures which shows the piece that goes behind the front bumper. Did you have to remake that panel? The bo...

Re: Majestic Major on Facebook

I have a vague recollection that you and I exchanged either emails or messages on the old forum. I remember seeing a picture of DQ on a forecourt of a house with front wings removed... and the house was on a main road. I'm thinking now that was you.

I think you'll find that car is very much loved Chris, as is this one IMG_0896.JPG which shares the drive with it...can't stand the Citroen though!

Re: Alternator needed for electric fan?

If you think about it, it's down to supply and demand. The dynamo can supply a certain amount of amps, the fan demands a different amount of amps. If the fan demands more than the dynamo can supply the extra will come from the battery. If the dynamo can supply enough amps then it won't. I don't know...

Majestic Major on Facebook

This picture popped up yesterday on a Facebook group "Unloved Classic and Retro Cars".

In the Wolverhampton area. Does anyone know anything about it? Seems to have been there for some years.
