Re: Conquest light switch wiring

Thanks fellas for your replies. I have spent some time today trying to figure out this switch (correct Mike 31428). I thought that if I could figure out where the top (ie the off position) was it would be easy to work out the various terminals and the correct wires for each - basically ignition (bro...

Conquest light switch wiring

The DJ254 NDHC restoration is nearing the end….hopefully. I have installed a new wiring loom….just followed the wiring diagram, however, I have a problem with the light switch. The wiring diagram shows 6 terminals whereas the switch only has 5 terminals. It looks like there may have been numbers on ...

Re: Special Sports fuel issue

Thanks Norfolk Lad & DBnJ. I am aware of the issue with the cam having been caught before. In this instance that is not the problem. The really puzzling thing is the intermittent occurances. I will take the AC pump off once more and have another look before giving up and going electric. Maybe, j...

Re: Special Sports fuel issue

There is a purple wire - constant live but fused - that I could use in conjunction with a switch to the pump - an added security feature?

Cheers

Re: Special Sports fuel issue

Thanks Steve, of course you are absolutely correct - voltage on the wire I was suggesting varies with the level of fuel in the tank. Saved by the Forum again! What I need is a green or white wire that are only live with the ignition on but a quick look at the wiring diagram and I can't find anything...
