Steering Box - play
Can anyone assist me. My Dart has a lot of play in the steering. This is seen by the amount of play in the steering wheel before we have any movement in the steering box. We have tried adjusting it but it does not help. I don’t want to change it for a rack and pinion solution. Does anyone have any t...

Re: SP250 dashboard template
Are you aware that there are differences in the dashboard between A, B and C types cars. There is also a dashboard and then there is a thin plywood cover which covers the actual dashboard. This cover (covered in vinyl or leather) has clips which locate in the actual dashboard. If you are lost then s...

Re: SP250 bumper mounts B type
So the guessing game continues. We have fitted the back bumper and the cow horns are in but: Can any one tell me where where do the items marked no 1 go? They do not seem to fit anywhere. These came with the car. Initially we thought they where for the front bumper but the the curvature does not mat...

Re: SP250 bumper mounts B type
O the challenge of restoring old cars. Cow horns finally fitted having had to rebuild one. The cow horns came from different places and first of all they would not fit into the end of the chassis legs then it was found that they were different. One was an inch longer than the other the other had to ...

Re: SP250 bumper mounts B type
Gentlemen thank you for your replies. I have a silly question to ask. Am I correct in that the cow horns fit directly into the end of the chassis legs? The cow horns I possess are from different vehicles and do not want to fit so when looking at the pictures provided is unclear that whether there is...

SP250 bumper mounts B type
Can anyone help me. I have a B type SP250. I purchased the car without a front bumper but have recently purchased a stainless steel replacement. In addition I have located 2 cow horns. Can any one show me a photo of how the bumper attaches to the chassis. I am wondering if I am missing a steel bar w...
