Re: LD10 Gearbox Selector Camshaft

Some good news - I was able to source a complete LD10 gearbox locally, and thus i'm up and running again after replacing the selector unit and re-adjusting and resetting everything. As for the conquest camshaft, the part number on mine is 288029, picture showing length of camshaft. I'd still be very...

Re: LD10 Gearbox Selector Camshaft

Sorry I've been caught up with work this week, I'll measure the camshaft tomorrow and let you know!

There is also a number engraved on it which I'll also find out!

Thanks!

Re: LD10 Gearbox Selector Camshaft

Yep Id be totally lost without that site.

I’ve contacted Peter and Adrian as well. I may also have to go down the machining route, I’m curious about the metal 3d printing process as a possible option, hopefully I can have it going by the next show on 4 March

LD10 Gearbox Selector Camshaft

This is, unfortunately, another "help" post! After taking the LD10 out for a decent drive yesterday I found myself stuck in third gear... and no selector activity...Stripping down the selector cover, shows the camshaft gear has sheared (see pics).. The camshaft itself was also seized (seem...

Marcel Renshaw wrote: Wed Jan 31, 2018 8:06 am Sorry but I don't make the water outlet.
It might be possible to modify one that I do.
By removing the elbow from the top of this might be very close.
It does look close, I'll do some measurements on the broken casting tomorrow and post them if that would help.

Sure!

Cheers

Excellent - thanks I'll give them a call!

Water Outlet

Hi All, I've just recently recommissioned L63297 after a 33 year slumber. It's a genuine survivor, single lady owner from 1951 - 1984, then stored from 1984 - 2017 and re-registered in December 2017. It's even still got its original toolkit, jack, pump etc. I am however in desperate need of a new wa...
