Hello Paul,

No apology required.

I have always used mineral based oils in my classics, V8-250 included.

Best wishes.

Richard.

Re: V8 Saloon Rear Axle oil type.

Whichever oil you use, ensure it is GL4 spec only.....................................GL5 is completely unsuitable as it can damage older classic car internals due to its modern make-up. If the diff is a bit noisy you can use EP140 -...

Personally I only use the accepted names: Polybush, Superflex etc - the difference being, as mentione...

Re: Insurance Valuations

Hello Al, Probably because your photos are too big, although not always obvious at the time. Try this piece of software - I use it all the time where a photo reduction is required. If you go for "very small size file" on the Quality drop down box you will be able to post. I use a separate folder to ...

Re: V8 Saloon Poly or metalastic bushes?

Fitting Guide from Polybush, they make them so I guess they know what they are talking about: "You need grease to fit a Polybush” Many think grease is required to fit our bushes, this is not recommended. The bushes are designed using an interference fit and created to spec. By using grease in the ap...
