This stuff does come up on eBay, ranging from good to less so.

Alan,

I presume there is currently no coolant of any sort in the car ??

If there is, you need to check the compatibility of any type of rad flush with these designer coolants in case there is a conflict of some sort.

Hello Alan, It sounds as though the area around the drain plug is dense with sediment and probably further afield; it is a case you will have to keep trying to make a clearway. Good advice re the above comments. It is also possible that the bands, if they are the cause, may need readjusting.
