Can anyone tell me if there is a proprietary metal item that caps off the inner panel and door seal at the top of the B Post on an SP.
I have seen pictures of other cars with said item and I wondered whether they are obtainable or do I have to make them.

Kevin Just a long shot but have you checked for oil in the carb dashpots.
Shortage of oil can have that effect.

Josh. I recently fitted overdrive and experienced the same problems. I shook the gearbox in an unsupported state and put a tube on the clutch lever to operate it and it soon parted. As for putting it back well it weighs a lot more with the overdrive fitted but I made up two studs { Bolts with no hea...

Battery SP
Anyone got any thoughts on a replacement battery for an SP.
I know that modern batteries have a great many improvements since the SP was launched but I am not sure what to replace the failing battery in my SP with.

Gearbox tunnel
Can anyone give me some guidance on my gearbox tunnel. I have just fitted an overdrive gearbox conversion { Overdrive Services, Sheffield are brilliant } to my Sp and I need to know where to enlarge the gearbox tunnel to accommodate the conversion. Is there a simple way or do I have to keep guessing...
