The new lip seal fit very well and they are not leaking.

Question about Luvax shocks
Hello all
One of my shocks was leaking by the bush of the arm.
I have replaced it with two modern lip seal and there is no more leak now.
But I have a question, are these rubber bushes only for preventing any leaks or they have another fonction, like centering the axle ?

This week end, I'll wash up this ball joint.
For me, the flat washer just behind the circlips is missing. All the greaser pass throuh the ball jonit when applied with the grease gun.

If you are speaking about the coolant passing through the manifold, yes you can bypass it.
My engine is running without itfor many years now.
But I live in the south of France and the winter temperatures are higher than yours.

This drawing as been done during my brain storming. I have tested 10mm, 8mm and 6mm for the space. 6mm was fine for me. I'll try to send you the pdf.
