Sounds great value. 3 different sizes would be too much to wish for

Lanchester 11 engine mounts.

Can anyone tell me if the engine mounts used in the Lanchester 11 were the same as the Lanchester 10.
If they are different can anyone tell me of suitable alternatives.
Many thanks.

Re: Consort Front Bumper Brackets

On both my Consort and Empress there weren’t captivated nuts holding the bumper onto the box section. It’s possible to get fingers and spanner’s in to position and tighten the screws.
There were captivated nuts holding the wing supports on.

Re: Daimler 15 engine rubbers.

There are photos of the various rubbers on eBay.
I list as Marcel 10_4 and John Nash as Landcruiser. We both have rubbers available. If you choose to buy from me they would be cheaper direct as I wouldn't have to cover eBay's 10% commission fee.
The pre war Lanchester 10 also uses the same rubbers.

Re: where to get exhausts?

Welcome to the forum. Which Empress do you have? PDGough at Watnall Nottinghamshire have made many Daimler and Lanchester exhausts.. I had one for my DB18 Consort from them. For my DB18 Empress I used stainless exhaust specialists in Huthwaite Nottinghamshire. The stand of work was good on both syst...

Re: Any idea? Sport Head

If you could find an inlet manifold, carbs, rocker cover and oil bath air cleaner. You would get a slight increase in power but probably not significant enough for all of the effort
The only thing I can think of for the threaded hole is to fasten the petrol pipe to the head with a “P” clip.

Re: Strange Case of Door Handles

The door handles on the DB18 saloons / Consorts were also used on some Lagondas they are different to the Conquest range. Good secondhand locking handles are getting hard to find..
