Seems that the old interweb/e-bay is now saturated with the Cult 1/18 scale SP's in three colors at various price points. Is the market that stout? Yes they are less than several 1/43 presentations but what is the quality? What about the old LHD boys market? Sold just as many near about' as I recall.

You can still see episodes of "Restoration" with the opening cast of cars that includes that black SP.
When I see my friends Marlin, that "the Guild" also purchased, on the screen I know the Dart is next.

Well a good cable protective sleeving or a heat shrink could be used in said vicinities to reduce the corona display quite effectively.

There are flexible braided s/s oil pressure gauge lines sold by Summit Racing and Jeggs as well as Stewart Gauges that are more reliable than nylon lines. That's what I use, mine is from Summit they are around $30.00 or so.

Remember the invisible winder tooth grinder in the rotating mechanism itself. The wear and tear on the quadrant teeth was caused by another surface grinding against it. I am sure you will find it in the same "heavily used" condition with its well worn teeth needing attention to get up to s...
