Sounds good. Did you buy it??
Another Club member has told me that he thinks it was the same car for sale about three years ago and that at that time it had a problem with the gearbox. Presumably that was all sorted by the Club member that bought it.

Re: DB18 Ritz body
Hello Michael, I own a Ritz, chassis 47008, I now know of only ten Survivors, four of which I do not know the chassis number. Two more are only known from old photographs so may not survive. My car will be for sale in the May Issue of the Driving Member. If you would like details my emails address i...

Re: Daimler Special Sports - Rear springs poundage
I don't think there was any stated Poundage. When I had springs replaced the Daimler Stores at Gamlingay told me to lay the spring down on its side, put a straight line across the ends of the springs and then measure from that line down to the centre of the spring. The Springs would then be reset to...

What a lot of fuss. I had just parked up and popped in the Newsagents to get a paper.

Re: Quick question LA14 interior
If the Glove box aperture on your dashboard had an opening cover it would have been hinged at the bottom and if so you will see evidence of two sets of screw holes along the bottom edge.

Re: Engine fan on a DJ252
Hello,
I think the 4 Blade Fans were fitted only on the Export models. On a Conquest I had I felt I needed a 4 Blade fan but could nit get one. So as the pulley had four holes, I fitted another 2 Blade fan at right angles to the original. This gave better cooling.

Re: Replacement Wiring Looms
I have rewired a Post War DB18, a DJ254 and a pre-war DB18 with new Looms from Autosparks. All were perfect with correct colours and lengths .
