Re: Wiring loom

Hi Alan,
I bought one from Autosparks for my Eleven and it was good quality as you say.

I am just looking at alternatives as the engine rebuild will be expensive for the LA10.

Wiring loom

I know I can get a wiring loom for my 1933 LA10 from autosparks at great expense.

I have been told that there is a company in USA that does them at a greatly reduced price, has anybody bought a cable loom from them?

Company details would be gratefully received.

Just curious

I just wondered why my 1933 LA10 had hydraulic brakes and yet my 1939 Lanchester LA11 has a mechanical system. Surely a hydraulic braking system provides better stopping power than metal rods?

Just seems a backward step to me to fit a mechanical system on the Lanchester LA11.

Head information please

Gent's
Are both these heads off a Lanchester LA10?

The head with the manifold on is marked MC10092 33 and taken off the engine this afternoon, albeit it was not bolted on.

The other head is just in the parts box and marked L67752, albeit the marking is hard to read.

Re: Lanchester 1934, 1140 cc

I just bought 1933 Lanchester 10 with 7000 on the clock and only two owners. The engine has been taken apart and I don't know if all the parts are there.

I paid 950

Re: Voltage regulator help

Hi Brian. Still not had any feedback after sending back the faulty regulator from the Solid State regulator manufacture. I also asked if it was compatible with R91. Hopefully, I will get some feedback next week.. I bought an RF91 regulator off ebay and fitted it and everything appears to be working ...
