OK men , has anyone sorted a Roller Cam - Follower set-up on this engine . Would allow for some serious area under the curve without having to go long duration or valve lift over 0.410 " . The rockers get some mean angle on them with increased lift being so short . so am contemplating a convers...

well, look at that will ya ?? quite so the second and fourth lines are reversed from correct.
Had never looked but knew the correct feed pattern in 1970 with my first SP.
Put that with the incorrect rear spring static setting that has caught many out .

my SP has 11, a new starter supplied by David Manners has 10 . What gives ? no specs given in the parts manual .

The need for shims is governed by how straight/ org. the chassis and vtl. links are . If a turret is twisted or bent out /in there can be a lot of shims/packers needed to bring back even to std settings . If there is not a degree of experience in setting this up i suggest re-assembling the lower arm...

'more to it than just reduced effort, a lot of the Akerman effect is lost if the longer arms are not used. Theres still a little lost even though . Its worth it using the TR6 arms . Rack must be reset lower as the longer arms also drop the tie-rod end C/L and bump-steer is created been there and sor...

yep, the std. SP has the driveshaft and yoke connected by the universal . still need to disconnect the four 3/8 bolts at the flange a the back of the gearbox.
The w57 range has the yoke on the shaft which simply pushes into the tail-housing of the box. Easy removal.
