Re: Body removal
I made a simple wooden dummy chassis fitted to a dolly frame with castors -you can see it in the pic. When we lifted the body off the car and onto the wooden frame, I screwed the body to the frame through the mounting holes, and when in it's storage position I put packing under the front and rear of...

Re: Dart coil
Sounds right, Paul.
The power to the coil should be white(ish!) and goes to the " SW " terminal on the coil,
the coil to distributor wire is white with a black trace and goes to the " CB " terminal,
the black wires are earth wires for the wiring loom.
Hope that helps,
John

Re: Radiator
Is it a temperature sensor pushed between the top fins of the rad? (Does it pull out, or is it fixed?)

Although it's a little expensive for entry, all the money goes to charity, and there are always fascinating cars to see - from prewar to modern supercars and e...

Re: What kind of fuel were they using??
So jealous, Hans! One of these years........ Incidentallly, when we're touring I work on an average 6miles/litre or 240 miles per 40 litre top-up (leaves a good reserve to find fuel!) which works out very close indeed to your 10.6L/100k. Mind you, it does depend on how accurate the odometer is...
