Re: SP 250 REAR ROADSPRING REMOVAL
Hi, When I replaced the rear springs on my C spec. I had to cut the pockets in the floor to extract the front bolts. Not a difficult job and an easy repair afterwards. When I re-assembled I inserted the bolts from the outer side so that the floor would never need to be cut again. On the A spec. car ...

Re: Daimler Timing v8
There is no problem when the cam cover is fitted, as the drive gear can easily be wound out of mesh after the removal of the distributor. Just make sure that the thrust washer is in place under the gear when refitting.

Re: SP250 Window Regulator Problem
Hi, I think there is a small bolt which governs the travel of the quadrant. If you could remove that you may be able to wind it to where you can remove it. If that does not work I would undo the screws retaining the glass channels and try get a hand up inside and slide the roller arms to where you c...

Re: SP250 Window Regulator Problem
Hi, From memory I think the regulators are handed. Could it be that someone has fitted a winder from the wrong side? If not, is it possible [with all the fixing screws out]to move the regulator to a position where it can be removed.
