Re: Another bargain?

After replacing the fuse all seemed ok for a few days and then the fuse blew again. As usual he was short of time and replace...

Re: Whats an original number worth

Syd, If you know the number you could search the number plate sale sites e,g Registration Transfers and find out how much it is for sale for. the value depending on which site it is, would be about 50% of the asking price, My guess is the £3K the brother wants is the figure that the sale site is ask...

Re: Daimler 2.5 V8 Battery/Dynamo issues

Alan. My dynamo when I had one needed about 2000 RPM before it showed a charge on the ammeter, so I would rev your car to 2000 RPM and take a voltage reading. If it is still only 12,5 Volts then disconnect the Dynamo and connect both the terminals together i,e, Dynamo wire and field wire and take an...

Re: Hi TORQUE STARTER MOTOR

I do not know about the virtues of the Hi torque starter motor but M&C Wilkinson is a very respected company dealing mainly in rebuilding Jaguars, If they sell it, it will be good.

Re: Is it sacrilege?

I seem to remember that they are illegal to use in the UK unless you are disabled.
I use to have one on my A35 Pickup for driving tests etc and was told it was illegal years ago.
