Re: KVA calculation
Newdexter is clearly not familiar with supply requirements hence his question. All the theory in the world won't help him and will just go over his head. All he wants to know is what rated supply do I need? We can't answer that question properly unless we know the current rating and voltage of the e...

I have to admit to using PVA glue in the past on a big Austin body, knew all about the limitations of animal glue but interesting to see his opinion on the right glue. The PVA was fine during the 7 years I had the car, but I take his point. I would take issue with stainless screws though, they will ...

What a great car to own, well sorted and thoughtfully presented, these cars are such a joy to drive, if only I have the space a few less cars and madam would not throw a wobbly.
I wish mine looked and was as good. Syd

Re: E20 needing completion reg SR9978
I thought the price was reasonable a lot of work and some difficult bits to find, but a lot of car when finished. Assuming the engine and transmission were fine, in my humble opinion it was priced about right. These cars look as good as and I gather drive as well as any Rolls or Bentley. Done right ...

Are you using three phase 440 volt equipment or is some or all of it 240 volt? Much will depend on the answer to that question as 440 volt equipment uses more or less half the current consumed by 240 volt equipment. It is much better to have too big a supply than a limited supply even if you do not ...

Some more great videos Marcus and I managed to solve the sound problem so was treated to the music instead of the engine nose. A great deal of dedication must have been used to get that straight eight running, where for instance would they find or have made a new crank? I bet they did not get the ga...
