Speedy cables of south Wales will remake your cable for a few bob and very quickly.
The pinch bolt grips the body of the distributor to hold it at a particular rotation, slacken it and you can rotate the distributor by hand for rough timing. The vernier adjustment is for precise timing.

Just looked in the Cowshed’s growing box of LD10 items but no luck.
Two fuel gauges and two speedo which perhaps indicates that temperature gauges fail more often.
My Barker bodied car has an aftermarket one installed below the dash.

My LD10 leaks like a sieve through the windscreen rubber. It may as well not be there. Sunroof is snug and dry though. Driving in the rain is unpleasant!
