When the job is finished I put the dirty petrol into old plastic milk containers and after it has had a few weeks to for the dirt to settle...

The rubber, now seven years old, in Mike's Car I got from Baines. At the time there was no restirction on ordering small quantities from them. It fitted well and has lasted well.

If you took this to a scrapyard they would probably want you to pay a fee before they let you leave it there.

Re: DB18 Interior Light Switch
Thank you Cliff from the first photo I thought it must be reversed. Now i can see it is possibly the same basic switch but is lacking the bezel. I don't think I could make one and it might be difficult to get one made. So I will hope that I see one to match mine or at the worst get a pair that would...

Re: DB18 Interior Light Switch
Could you show a photo of the front of the switch so that I can see if it is anything like mine. It does not need to be an absolute match.
Thankyou

Re: eBay 1957 Daimler Conquest Drophead Coupe DJ254
This was a car that we thought was lost, having been unknown to DLOC for some time. It needs a great deal of Restoration and when completed it will be worth towards £30,000 or less since it has not got the original Registration number. I look forward to eventually hearing from the new owner. Dennis ...

Re: Consort - family owned from new
If I had the car I would prefer to restore it to as near original condition as possible with a restored Daimler engine.
