There was a similar car built on a Majestic Major chassis. Graham Frost bought it in a scrapyard and brought it up to Norfolk, about twenty years ago, for Brian Hills to scrap for spares. The body was too far gone for restoration, with a lot missing, but Brian rebuilt the engine which was later sold.

There is a gap about half an inch under my garage door and at the other end is a window which I keep on ventilate. This keeps a current of air through the garage. You could set the time by moving hands with your fingers, carefully, with finger pushing on the minute hand near the centre of the dial. These clocks had a calendar dial telling the day of the month which got confused when a month only had 30 days as it then wanted to call the first of the month the...

This will be Roadster 90477, formerly owned by Kevin Bennett, sold in aution July 2011. Have no details of new owner as they have not contacted DLOC Registrars.

My Eight day Longcase clock is 230 years old, and still keeps perfect time I check it against the pips now and then. Perhaps Neill can tell me if the weight of the lead weights ever varies and if this could affect the time keeping.

The owner of all those Daimlers in the field got me interested in Daimlers. They were all cleard some years ago by, I think, John Wentworth. One was left, an EL24, I took some photos last year. Sadly neither the car or the parts are for sale. I took photos recently.
