Hi Nick,
Check online for Dennis Leys’ Restoration of a DB18 Consort.
I can’t be sure but chances are there will be an episode with refitting the windscreen to the car.
Cheers and happy New Year.

Re: Happy Christmas and a productive New Year
From all of the Forum members here in New South Wales and maybe even further afield, wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a safe happy healthy New Year. Taking up the theme of a productive New Year I will try to take that as a challenge and get my DE 36 to the 26 January 2024 Australia Day dis...

Re: AC fuel pump
Hello everyone I am happy to report that I was able to get the DE started on Saturday without having to dismantle the pump system, I suspect that apart from grit in the inline filter I have fitted, it is more than likely lack of use. I'll take the car out in a week or so when i have some time and ho...

Re: DE36 Automatic Oiler Diaphragm
Hi Pete,
Do you mean the electric pump that sits above the oil reservoir in the engine bay?
Let us know so i can check with Mark in Western Australia who is a guru for all things DE.
He has also established the Daimler Rubber Company supplying hard to get rubber parts for our cars.
Cheers

Re: AC fuel pump
Good morning,
Sounds like the fuel pump diaphragm and possibly valves are at fault.
Have you a kit for the fuel pump that you can fit?
It must be fuel pump season, I have a post about fitting the pump to make sure that lobe rest properly against the camshaft.
Cheers

AC Type U Fuel Pump installation
Hello clever people, I took the fuel pump off my DE 36 yesterday to test if it was working properly (stupidly I should have tested it while still installed). All good plenty of fuel coming through so I think it was probably just the inline fuel filter doing its job filling up with scale and rust etc...

Re: Unkown Daimler?
Hi Marcus,
You have probably already seen the details on the Facebook page but here they are, along with a couple of what look like recent photos.
Daimler days records states first owner glam County. Body 8042. Build sept 52 (thanks to Ben Callow for this research).

Hi Everyone,
The Special Sports exhaust System Exploded View and parts list looks to be identical to the Consort one.
