That's normal on the Conquest as well. After a few bruises on the back of the head you soon learn to adapt! I believe there is potential for a slight adjustment of the two springs but all mine have the same "design fault".

Personally I would drain the system and start again. Open heater and fill VERY slowly. Start the engine and bring up to temperature with the rad cap off squeezing the hoses to help expel any air. Put cap on before level overflows and then allow to cool. Remove cap, top up again and repeat the warm u...

My first reaction was "that's nuts" but the results look good and as he says it's much cheaper than the specialist auto products designed to do the same thing, although I can imagine all the local squirrels chasing the car down the road! I wonder what else we can find in the kitchen cupboa...

Most companies put up the price for the second year indicating that the internet prices are loss leader prices to appear competitive. Either change company each year or let your policy lapse and reinsure with your old company next day at the introductory internet price again (which is what I do).

I would suggest if you look at the total posts for each of the main three marque forum categories the ratio might well represent the true state of ownership. I hope that makes sense?
