Re: Vermin Attack
I use this as we store a lot of winter vegatables in our garage as well as the SP and it kills the mice within seconds.

Re: Can the distributor skew gear be removed from above?
Dave’s suggestion of making up a wooden dowel to turn the pump gear reminded me that I made up a steel dummy distributor drive shaft long enough to engage the pump and long enough to put an electric drill on the other end. The purpose being to pump oil round the engine after Russ Carpenter had rebui...

Re: Lubricating SP250 Front HUbs
Simon you have probably worked out how to do it by now, but if not here is how. First you have lift the brake caliper off the disc by undoing the two bolts that hold it to the vertical link. Nitrile gloves
I use disposable nitrile gloves for all car work and any gardening but unfortunately don’t last very long. Any recommendations for ones that still give plenty of feel but don’t tear so quickly.
Thanks Paul

Re: SP Workshop Manual Wrong Again
Brian, it plainly does make a difference the manual is referring to the the left hand carburettor as viewed from the drivers seat, then if you are adjusting the left hand carburettor standing in front of the car, you are adjusting the wrong carburettor.

Re: SP Workshop Manual Wrong Again
I understood that when the manual refers to left and right in reference to the engine it is as if you were sitting in the car, not when standing at the front of the car.
