Special Sports record price?

The protype SS sold at auction on Saturday for AUD$97000 but with buyers premium AUD$104,000. Amazing!

Maybe people are begining to appreciate the Daimler Special Sports, a rising tide liftsa ll ships - hopefully.

Re: Special Sports head torque settings

What tyre pressures Graham? I use 35 psi all- round on my Special Sports which you have driven. I have never driven a SS with crossplies but enjoy my SS with radials and have no issues with directional stability, rather the contrary.

Cheers
Michael

PS see you at Peebles.

SS - leave well enough alone

A few weeks back my Special Sports had a rare 'failure to proceed' eventually resolved by a fuel pump rebuild kit from David Beales. While I had the floor and toe-board out - to access the reserve fuel tap that I initially thought was the problem - I thought I should check the fluid flywheel oil lev...

Re: Advice on Consort price

Hi Chris, I think you may have two problems: 1) for some reason the Consort doesn't seem very popular - it's been three or four years since I saw one at one of our club events. They used to be numerous. 2) the price may be a bit optimistic - one sold here in Vic. for $15,000 about four years ago and...
