Re: DB18/2 lifting the car

While I don't have a DB18 I do use a double scissor style (2 platforms) lift for my Dart. It came with hard rubber blocks that sit under the chassis on the platform in 2 places each side, no weight is taken by the sills. All mechanical components can be serviced. In the past I've had 4 post style li...

Re: SP250 Inlet manifiold

Thats something I've not seen on any of the SP250 engines. I wonder it the "screw" discussed earlier in the post was a previous owner fabricating a 'vacuum port'?

Possibly same with the 'vacuum balance line', place a tee between them and thus the highest vacuum would be sensed.

Re: fuel level sensor

Sydsmith, I agree with your statement regarding attitude when posting or responding doesn't normally do any good to piss people off. In my case my car on a car lift and I'm not in a position to lower it just to take a photo! Anyhow I've attached a electrical schematic that shows only 2 wires in use ...

Re: Sp250 Brake servo - Help needed please.

It is a AN-6 or JIC -6 "O"ring style fitting. Can be an adapter to hose barb multiple styles available. I just put a - 6 fitting into the spare engine so I'm sure its correct -- natually it is an SAE thread, see chart. hose barb.JPG fiting.JPG This one below is like the original style used...

Re: fuel level sensor

Does your tank have the reserve solenoid? I don't and only recall having two wires.

Re: Sp250 Brake servo - Help needed please.

On my Dart its connected to the rear of the intake manifold, there is a fitting point. Its opposite where the water hose goes on the forward side of the manifold. If I recall I have a "T" installed for the brake servo and the vacuum guage that was added by previous owner. The line or hose ...
