Re: Lucas wing lamp lenses - Lanchester 15/18
Thanks Norfolk Lad for looking at this for me. Certainly the clock face acrylic gives me the diameter and thickness I want but I note it is convex rather than flat. Regards, Ranald

Re: Lucas wing lamp lenses - Lanchester 15/18
Thanks Alan, Very useful. However, I must be missing the correct section on the website as the maximum diam of saphire watch glass seems to be 35mm (https://www.cousinsuk.com/category/watch-glasses). I note you refer to the glasses as being 3". The damaged ones I have taken out are 2 7/8" ...

Lucas wing lamp lenses - Lanchester 15/18
Hello, I need to replace the flat round slightly frosted wing lamp lenses on my car. The lamp is described in the parts book as 515/4. The diameter of the glass is 2 7/8" (73mm). Thickness: 2mm. I'm sure acrylic would do. Does anyone know where I can get something. When you go on the internet t...

Re: foot pedal gaitors bellows - 1933 Lanchester
Thanks Al. I'll probably use soft leather as a pre-formed rubber bellow intended for another model might impede the smooth movement of the throttle linkage.

Re: Thread Size
My 1933 Lanchester uses BSF and BSW. If they are going into cast iron, I would expect BSW but maybe Big Al or another LA11 owner will advise. Regards, Ranald

foot pedal gaitors bellows - 1933 Lanchester
The 3 foot pedal linkages go through holes in the toe board. Any form of seal in the form of gaitors or bellows has long since dissappeared on my car. How have other members of the forum solved this problem? Thanks Ranald

If you look on page 5 of the current club magazine you will see Tony Fardoe's Lanchester 12/6. His contact details are on the back page of the magazine. All the best, Ranald

Re: Large box spanner - Lanchester 15/18
Thank you for your reply. I initially recorded the measurement incorrectly ( 1" to much !!). Anyway, i've amended my original post. The measurement is 1 7/8" between flats. If anyone can help it will be appreciated.
