Hi Chaps, just fitted the new Dip Switch , it did take longer than I first anticipated , I had to remove the three floor sections, and because of the differing design I ended up surface mounting inside the floor instead of the engine side .The headlamps now “ dips” properly when the switch is operat...

Hi Chaps, have just fitted a pair of the LED Headlamp Bulbs, and “ Wow” what a difference ,and the current consumption has been reduced dramatically ! I do have one question , these Bulbs are flat in profile, with Two lighting element on each side, is there a “ Preferred” way to fit else Bulbs , I.e...

Hi Simon, take a look at the previous thread by Steve Carpenter (SP 250 boy) )
One of the Two Cylinder Heads is for a Lanchester11, the other one ( Top) is for a Lanchester 10,
Perhaps you will be able to do a deal with to purchase the LA10 Head ?? 🤣🤣👍

Hi Steve, bottom one is Lanchester ELEVEN . If you take a look on e-Bay , for Lanchester Head Gaskets you will find this :- 4D8C77DA-37E4-4407-9D9E-1D8EE1C30E06.jpeg Also of course ,the Exhaust ports are different on the LA10 Head etc . I know these engines very well ( perhaps too well 🤣🤣🤣👍) Cheers ...

Hi Tony , yes they a bit of a Pig ! Very difficult to get to , I believe the Brake Master Cyl will need to be removed to gain access to it ,as it’s nearly impossible to do anything with it in place ? . The material of the Quadrant is very hard , so impossible to deepen the Ratchet by means of a file...
