I always thought the easiest way to change the park position was to turn remove the wipers and cable, then turn the wiper boxes the other way up, re-thread the cable through and put the wiper arms back on after the motor has parked the empty spindles.

We need to see this SP towing an Airbus on a video, there is no evidence it isn't just parking in the wrong place and destined to be run over as it's out of sight for the plane's driver!!!

I understand John Box did an article in the above magazine about the SP250 test run route to Wells and back to Coventry. It has a Ford Capri on the front cover. Now I remember reading his three part article 'The Apprentice's Tale' in the DLOC Mag and I really enjoyed it, so I would like to see this....

The owner of chassis No: 102515 has "camshaft valley drilled to drain into timing cover", maybe this is why....

Just thinking about your situation............ I wonder if you should drain all the oil out and empty the filter. Then fill it according to the handbook recommendation for oil capacity Run it for a bit and look at the stick. That should do the trick? And yes, Well spotted! Mine is an SP250 and they ...

Well, on mine the tube extends 6 inches up from the block and the [max] mark on the dip-stick is 7 1/2 inches down from the stop - There is no min mark on the dip-stick.
