I would definitely check the A and A1 connections to the regulator are secure. If they’re OK it could be the regulator itself.

Graham, I agree with your post wholeheartedly! The method our sponsor used to lock these hub nuts is, from an engineering standpoint, fine; but from a maintenance standpoint it is bloody stupid.
