Re: Unkown Daimler?
The description states a 8 cylinder engine, it also has chrome slats at the side of the bonnet and side mounted spare - so probably a DE36

Re: Special sports exhaust
These from the lovely SS sold in Australia by Shannons a couple of years ago
There are also quite a few exhaust pictures on this website https://www.erclassics.com/daimler-1951-968/ but I suspect the setup is not quite right

Re: Conquest Semaphore indicators
Lucas SF80 I think they are the same as on some Morris Minors which may be easier to track down. Part No is 54044

Re: Manifold to Downpipe bolts
I think it depends on your exhaust manifolds. The originals were slimmer than the ones that have been re-manufactured and there seems to be some variation on the space around the three holes that is available for the bolt heads. Getting all three bolts in place can be tricky if the angles on the dow...

Re: AC Car Clock
Is your car a Conquest as the clock will be a Smith movement even if with a AC face? The clocks4classics kit will work on these clocks. The 50s electric clocks suffered from wear on the contacts which make and break each second. The clocks4classics kit gets round this problem. You can get replacemen...

Re: AC Car Clock
I have used clocks for classics. They supply a circuit board which helps regulate the original mechanism so it still ticks as normal. A little involved to fit and it doesn't provide modern quartz accuracy but it does make the existing clock work well.

Re: parts etcetera Daimler Regency chassisnr DF306
The light switch PRS7 (lucas 33966) is widely available from Holden or on ebay. The Knob itself is more difficult - there are brown (Lucas part 312622) or black (312550) versions and perhaps ivory.
The knobs are the same as on the Conquest Century so you may be able to find them that way.
