Coachbuliders
I was attending a classic car meeting some years ago and heard a couple of older chaps chatting about coach builders and their relative merits and faults. It seemed that the "Cars from Crewe" with Gurney Nutting coachwork were much desired. I asked why and it seemed it was the lines which ...

Re: 1936 Daimler V32 4. 5 Hooper Limousine
This car sold last year for £16,800 at auction, I forget which company. Either the buyer has realised it's not to his taste or someone is trying to make some money.

Re: Trailer with blowing bulbs
Thank you for your contributions Gentlemen. My friend took his car to a garage this morning and they have checked it over and found all is well. He has said that the bulbs keep popping out of their holders which I find difficult to comprehend as one was rather difficult to fit. Having learned of thi...

Trailer with blowing bulbs
A friend of mine has been using his caravan for several years without any major problems. However, recently he has been blowing the stop lamp bulbs with regular occurrences. Re: Of or Off

Of or Off
When I order parts I will send a list. 1. 4 off XXXX 2. 3 off YYY etc etc. I tried this with one supplier via email and he thought it was a spam message as he would have used "4 of" rather than "4 off". Now would you learned Gentlemen be able to shed any light on this? Which of u...

Re: Daimler DE27
Not really a big decision is it? The white one at £13,995 or the black one, needing work at £14,995. Why do people assume that if a royal bum has been on the seats it must make the car more valuable?
