Stainless pipework

Post by Roark »

My DE36 needs some new, replacement pipework. The P or question marked shaped metal pipe on the bottom RHS of the radiator has a hole in it. I could braze it but the inside resembles a human being's ileum and a stainless replacement would be better.
Under the front of the engine is a metal pipe, shaped like a pair of cowhorn handlebars, through which the cross chassis wiring loom runs. I have had to cut mine open as it's rusty and needs to be replaced. There is another metal pipe that conveys a part of the loom up from the LH of the chassis to the fuse box. That part is in good condition but I would wish to replace it.
In addition various water pipes to and from the rear heater and those that run the length of the engine would be better in stainless.
Does anyone have a possible source please?

I’ve not tried this company personally yet but I have been recommended Alunox, Wrexham. If you do try them I’d like to know how you get on. Ranald
